Waiting for Supplies
Just a quick update. I haven't made much progress on the layout in the last few weeks, other than laying some of the track for the wye. Partly because I've been busy with other stuff (garden, yardwork, visiting Jen's parents), but also because all of the dealers have been out of stock of Walthers turnouts. This week they are finally back in stock, so I just placed a big order for all of the track and turnouts I will need to complete the lower level. Once that comes in I should be able to make some headway on tracklaying.

That's the L&N depot at Cottondale, Florida. It's looking pretty sad in that photo. Very similar design to the Milton depot. I read that Seaboard depots were painted buff with brown trim up until the mid-50s, when they switched to all white.

Interesting. I've seen some train stations painted a kind of light brown with cream trim and the front and back doors painted red.
