Layout Tour
This past weekend I got to see three different layouts around Tallahassee. I just joined the Big Bend Model Railroad Association and this was their 20th anniversary layout tour. I saw an HO scale layout, and Sn3, and a N scale. Some nice modeling work by various members of their club. It was very inspiring and gave me some good motivation to keep up the progress on my layout. It also made me feel better about how long my layout is taking, after hearing some of them talk about the years of work that's gone into some of the layouts. Also got a chance to get a little advice about DCC systems which is encouraging.
On the layout front, I've now finished laying track on both helixes. This week I hope to start drawing out the mainlines on the middle level, and maybe lay some roadbed. I also need to clean up the layout room in the interest of domestic relations. I'll be out of town next week so probably not a huge amount of progress for the next couple of weeks.
